Dr. Richard S. Gillum graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Dentistry. He earned the prestigious Gold Foil Operator’s Award for excellence in operative dentistry. Dr. Gillum was selected as a student instructor and continued as a part-time faculty member after graduation.
Continuing education combined with experience, skill, and the master of universal principles is the foundation of quality dentistry. He has completed hundreds of hours of coursework in Orthodontics, Six Month Smiles, TMJ Facial Pain, and Dental Sleep Medicine which treats Snoring & Sleep Apnea and offers a comfortable alternative to the traditional C-PAP Machine.
In addition to being a well-respected family dentist in Greenwood, Indiana, Dr. Gillum is recognized as a local expert in medically prescribed treatments for snoring and sleep apnea. We provide a comfortable and effective oral appliance alternative to CPAP for the treatment of Snoring and Sleep Apnea.
In 1992, Dr. Gillum completed a three-year course in applied nutrition and was awarded the title of Professor of Applied Nutrition with the American Health Science Institute. He read a number of articles every week to keep abreast of the newest developments in nutrition, dentistry, and sleep medicine.
